This piece basically came from me being upset over the death of one of my favorite characters on the season finale of a certain show. My mentor and I constantly talk to each other about shows, and how attachment to a show can lead to unbelievable heartache. When I told her what had happened on the season finale, she told me I should write about it, and so I did.
